2020. gada 20. aprīlī katedras prof. Jānis Grabis uzstājās ICDE darba konferencē "International Workshop on Blockchain and Data Management (BlockDM)" prezentēja kopējo pētījumu ar Vlado Stankovski (Ļubļanas Universitāte) un maģistrantūras studiju absolventu Robertu Zariņu par "Blockchain Enabled Distributed Storage and Sharing of Personal Data Assets". Konference notika tiešsaistes režīmā.
