Bohdan Haidabrus, Associate Professor and PhD in Project and Program Management from Sumy State University (Sumy, Ukraine) has been doing mobility at the Department of Management Information Technology at the Institute of Information Technology RTU for almost three months. As a scientific part of mobility he investigates evaluation of Information Technology Projects’ health from the perspective of using data science and machine learning methods. “How we can evaluate project health? How and in which way the data science and machine learning technics can help for this?” – these questions are covered in the research. There are two papers already published and two are in the publishing process with his scientific advisor Professor Jānis Grabis.
The academic part of the mobility consists of Dr. Haidabrus’s involvement in teaching activities in the Portfolio Management Technologies study course at the Department of Management Information Technology. This study course is a part of Master level study programs in Information Technology and Business Informatics. The course is attended by a diverse group of students coming from different educational backgrounds and many countries. During the classes Dr. Haidabrus shares the experience from IT industry and scientific background using a mix of learning activities: case study, business games, team work and Zoom.
