International ERP is a collaborative project between Rostock University and Riga Technical University in training of SAP ERP system. Students from both universities jointly perform an integrated sales and distribution process, and teams from every university are responsible for their own specific activities according to their role in the process execution. The standard GBI case is used as a basis for the International ERP. It is modified by assuming that some of the activities are outsourced to a daughter company. A GBI customer inquiries about buying bicycles. The inquiry is treated by a salesperson and the customer accepting the offer triggers the rest of the sales and delivery process. The process includes MM activities of procuring/manufacturing out-of-stock items. The process includes FI activities such as billing and payment.
